All About Ava
As
an
imaginative
child
Ava
enjoyed
listening
to
fairy
tales.
The
pictures
of
Cinderella
and
Prince
Charming
in
shining
armour
were
beautiful
but
she
wanted
more.
Looking
at
pictures
was
fun
but
reading
what
the
prince
did
to
wake
up
Cinderella
was
what
Ava
wanted
to
know.
She
was
also
curious
how
the
brave
knight
could
kill
that
very
big
and
fierce
dragon
when it was spitting fire at him?
There
was
only
one
thing
for
her
to
do,
learn
to
read.
She
did
and
at
a
very
early
age.
On
her
sixth
birthday
she
received
a
magazine
subscription
for
a
children's
magazine
from
her
father.
This
magazine
and
the
other
stories
she
read
improved
her
writing
and
at
the
age
at
eleven
Ava
started
her
career
as
a
reporter
at
the
school
newspaper.
She
remained
an
active
member of the group until she moved on to high school.
The
years
flew
by
fast;
she
graduated
from
business
collage
and
was
soon
involved
in
the
business
world
leaving
those
carefree
years
behind
her.
The
next
few
years
were
hectic.
Writing
remained
part
of
her
daily
activity.
As
a
real
estate
agent,
she
wrote
contracts,
newsletters,
corresponded with her clients and did her own advertising.
Writing
stories
or
articles
never
even
entered
her
thoughts,
her
career
demanding
all
of
her
time.
She
fondly
remembered
the
few
years
she
wrote
for
the
school
newspaper,
jokingly
calling
it
her
childhood
career.
The
odd
time
she
wondered
what
her
life
would
be
as
an
author,
but
her
thoughts
stopped there.
The
years
of
dedication
to
her
business
paid
off
and
she
had
time
other
pursuits.
Her
interest
in
writing
was
only
dormant,
not
dead.
She
began
to
study
writing.
Her
mind
wondered
about
those
fascinating
stories
in
her
mental
file
box.
The
people,
places
and
their
stories
emerged
from
the
past,
painting pictures in her mind.
Ava
and
her
husband
live
in
Alberta
Canada.
They
try
to
escape
the
cold
Canadian winters whenever they can.

In
addition
to
being
a
great
author,
Ava
is
a
master
at
the
BBQ
and
this
book even has wine and beer pairings.
